This is the battery board for Williams video games. It is a direct replacement and requires no modification to your original board. It includes an additional blocking diode in the event the one on the board fails. Some of the glass diodes used on certain games have been known to short. When this happens, the game will start to charge the battery which can result in overheating or fire.
