Usually when I’m repairing a board just 1, maybe 2 components are bad. This Fliptronics II board was left on my bench with a note saying “it locks up the logic board.”
Before pulling your early Bally or Stern power driver board out for service always check your display voltage as it can run high meaning there’s a failure in your high voltage display power circuit.
If your early Bally or Stern pinball machine is randomly tilting or pop bumpers are firing when they shouldn’t you probably have shorted capacitors on your switches.

When servicing your early Bally power driver board, always make sure to check the display output voltage *before* removing it for service. I forget to do this sometimes and end up having to take the board back out despite the displays working.
The 6803 feature lamps are driven in a way that’s different than probably any other pinball machine ever and it hasn’t been used since.
